Differences Can Be Productive

Differences in the workplace are all around us. Research suggests that we spend as much as half of our day dealing with conflict situations. All too often, our clients tell us that managing differences is “not worth it,” and then admit they lack the skills and tools to effectively settle these differences. Our goal at SGC Consulting is to help clients determine which differences are “worth dealing with.” We then help people understand and use a variety of interventions to manage the differences that are obstacles to success. We also use instruments and tools for people to recognize their own and others’ styles of handling conflict. Our workshops and learning experiences give people a chance to demonstrate effective ways of dealing with differences and conflict.

We equip people with tools and techniques to help them be more effective during decision making and problem solving situations. By learning and practicing these methodologies, people increase effectiveness, satisfaction and innovation in their work life.
